HubSpot, when email sits next to a sales pipeline.

Workflows, lists and properties in the same place as the deals. Strong when marketing and sales share a database, heavier than it needs to be when they do not.

Overview

_□×

HubSpot treats email as one output of a contact database rather than a channel of its own. Every send is driven by list membership and contact properties, so the quality of the email work depends almost entirely on how clean the data underneath it is.

The workflow builder handles branching and delays well. The ecommerce side is thinner than the tools built for shops, so product feeds and cart data usually arrive through an integration rather than natively.

What it is best for

_□×

Shops where a salesperson picks up the phone, businesses with a wholesale arm alongside retail, and anyone already paying for HubSpot for the CRM who should be getting email out of it too.

It suits a shop with a real cross-sell motion or a wholesale side, because the same record holds the order history and the conversation.

What it costs

_□×

HubSpot prices by tier and by marketing contact, so the bill follows how many people you actively market to rather than how many records you hold. Higher tiers include the automation most shops actually want.

Platform fees are yours and paid direct, never marked up through me. Rates move, so check the platform for current pricing before you budget on it.

How I help on HubSpot

_□×

Data first on this one: properties, lists and lifecycle stages agreed before a single email goes out, because a workflow built on a messy database sends the wrong thing confidently.

Then the usual build order. Welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase and winback, followed by campaigns and monthly reporting that a sales team can read as easily as you can.
