Reporting_□×

One page of numbers. Not a deck.

Reporting should explain what happened, why it matters and what changes next. If it takes a meeting to understand, it has failed.

What you get

_□×

On day 30, one page: revenue from email, flows against campaigns, list movement, and what I am changing next month. Opens are on there because you will look for them, but they are not the point.

The purpose of a report is to make the next send sharper. Nothing else it does matters.

What gets reviewed

_□×
  • Campaign performance, send by send
  • Flow performance and where people drop out
  • List growth, and engagement quality inside it
  • Which subject lines, segments, offers and send times worked
  • Revenue where the platform tracks it properly
  • Practical tracking fixes where it does not

Metrics that earn their place

_□×

Clicks, conversions, revenue per send, list growth, engagement bands and unsubscribe patterns tell you more than opens alone, which have been unreliable since mail privacy protection started pre-loading images.

Six numbers, reported consistently, beat sixty reported once. More on what to watch in the guides.

Who this is for

_□×

Shops that send email but cannot tell you what it earned. Also works as a standalone service if somebody else does the sending and you want a straight read on whether it is working.

The free audit is effectively month zero of the reporting: where you are now, in writing.

Questions people ask

_□×

Can you report on revenue?

If the platform and shop are tracking it properly, yes. If not, fixing that is one of the first recommendations.

Do I get a dashboard?

Only if it helps. Most shops need one clear page a month first, and never ask for the dashboard afterwards.

Can reporting be standalone?

Yes. I can review the data even if someone else manages the sends.

How is this different from the free audit?

The audit is a one-off look at where you are today. Reporting is the monthly version of the same discipline once work is running.
